Splitting Documents in Case Logistix

Westlaw® Case Logistix® allows you to split a multi-page TIFF or PDF file into multiple single-page PDF documents. To split a document, complete these steps:

  1. Right-click the document in the Document List and click Split Document. The Split Document dialog box is displayed. The original document is altered to contain a list of the individual pages in the left box.

  2. Split document

  3. Click the pages that you want to separate in the left box, then click the right arrow to move them to the right box.
  4. Click pages in the right box and click Move Up or Move Down, if desired.
  5. Click Execute Split. The split documents are displayed at the end of the Document List.

Note: You can only split a native PDF document or a PDF that you create on the Mark-up tab. You cannot split associated text for TIFF images.
