Prince C. Chambliss Jr.

Prince C. Chambliss, Jr. attended Wesleyan University, Middletown, Conn., and graduated from the University of Alabama, Birmingham, BA, and Harvard Law School, JD. He has been a partner at Evans & Petree from 2001 to the present. Mr. Chambliss is listed in Who's Who in American Law (1992 to present) and has been a member of the Memphis Bar Association since 1976. He has served on the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners; Hearing Panel, Bd. of Professional Responsibility of Tennessee Supreme Court (1985-1991); Tennessee Bar Association; American Bar Association; Federal Bar Association; and the Alabama Bar Association since 1974. He is a fellow of the American College of Civil Trial Mediators and was listed in America's Top Black Lawyers, Black Enterprise magazine, 2003, and listed as one of the Best Lawyers in America in 2006. Mr. Chambliss, participated as lead counsel in more than twenty jury trials to verdict. Subject areas (also non-jury matters) include: Commercial and Contractual disputes, Products Liability, Medical Malpractice, Personal Injury and Property Damage, Insurance Issues and Coverage Disputes, Labor, EEO, Securities, Uniform Commercial Code, Disability and Workers' Compensation, Hazardous Substances, Fraud, Class Action, Consumer Protection Act, Bad Faith Insurance, Sexual Harassment, Civil Rights, 42 U.S.C. Section 1983, and Wrongful Discharge. Finally, he served with the Tennessee Board of Law Examiners for nineteen years, resigning as president in 2001.
