Francesca Albert qualified as a solicitor in 2001, training with, and later becoming Of Counsel, at Herbert Smith (now Herbert Smith Freehills). She specialized in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration working in Herbert Smith's London, Tokyo and Moscow offices. Victoria Kummer joined Practical Law in 2015 after retiring from Dickstein Shapiro, where she was a partner in the Business Litigation group for 12 years. Previously at Weil, Gotshal & Manges and Baer Marks & Upham, she practiced for more than 20 years as a commercial litigator before courts and arbitral tribunals around the world. He previously served as the first City Attorney of Kyle, Texas, the Deputy City Attorney of Temple, Texas, and Senior Assistant City Attorney for the City of Corpus Christi, Texas. Julian also served for nearly ten years as the highest ranking municipal law attorney for the State of Texas as the head of the Texas Attorney General's Local Government Section.
