Using Auto Tags During Depositions

You may need to listen for key words or phrases during a deposition. Westlaw Case Notebook® provides the Auto Tags feature, which you can use to automatically highlight words and phrases during the deposition. Simply add words or phrases to Auto Tags before the session and let Westlaw Case Notebook do the rest.

To add words or phrases to Auto Tags, complete these steps:

1. On the Annotate menu, click Auto Tags. The Auto Tags dialog box is displayed.





2. Click New, then type your auto tags in the text box. Select a highlight color for the Auto Tags to display in the transcript and click OK.






The Auto Tags are automatically highlighted during the deposition.
