Users will be able to build their custom forms just like any other form on Form Builder. Any information that Form Builder already has for a Client and Matter will auto-populate onto the custom form and all new data entered will be saved and repurposed throughout the life cycle of the case. This data will populate other existing Form Builder forms for the same client and matter.
To begin, log in to Form Builder at www.forms.westlaw.com with your OnePass username and password. If you have a Custom Forms subscription, you will see a link on the upper right hand side.
From there, select the Custom Forms folder where you saved your custom form. Now you can complete your custom form just like any other on Form Builder. If you click the blue title of the form, it will allow you to preview the form and view a description if you entered one.
On the upper right hand side you will see several icons that allow you to perform a variety of functions: Download a blank copy of the custom form, save the custom form to your Form Sets to be built in conjunction with other Form Builder forms, share your form with your client via the Client Portal on Firm Central*, or begin the Build process. *A separate subscription is needed for Firm Central to have access to the mentioned Client Portal.
Click Build if you wish to build the form.
You will be prompted to select an existing client and matter or create a new one. Select a client and matter and click Continue.
You will be asked questions on the left hand side and then you can enter the information directly into the form on the right side. Any information Form Builder has saved about the client and matter will auto-populate onto the form. Any new information entered will be saved and will auto-populate throughout the lifecycle of the client's matter on future forms.
Continue clicking Next to navigate through the questions. Once you get to the end of your form, you will automatically be prompted to download the completed document or share it with your client through the Firm Central Client Portal. *A separate subscription is needed for Firm Central to have access to the mentioned Client Portal.
