This publication provides the official regulations issued in Division 1 (Employment Development Department – EDD) of Title 22 (Social Security) in Barclays Official California Code of Regulations (CCR). Division 1 contains critical information regarding legal obligations pertaining to company layoffs, unemployment insurance, disability insurance, and paid family leave insurance.

In addition, the regulations contained in Title 22 also include important information regarding hiring of professional foreign workers, employee documentation verification criteria, taxable values provided by employers to employees and employment tax rates and payments.
