The volumes in Michigan Appeals Reports contain the official decisions of the Michigan Court of Appeals, beginning with cases in 1965 when the Court began operating.
The decisions are editorially enhanced with headnotes written by the state Reporter of Decisions office that accurately identify and explain major points of each case. Each reported decision also includes a syllabus highlighting the procedural history of the case, the majority opinion, and the dissenting or concurring opinion when applicable.
