Know Your Code: A Guide to the OBC is a compendium of building requirements derived from the Ohio Building Code, Ohio Mechanical Code, Ohio Plumbing Code, Ohio Fire Code, National Electrical Code, the Residential Code of Ohio, and EPA standards, as well as relevant provisions of the Ohio Revised Code.
Know Your Code has value for architects, engineers, and other design professionals; contractors and construction managers; building officials, inspectors, and plans examiners; consultants, teachers, and administrators of education programs; and others who need a quick reference to the rules, standards, and requirements of the Building Code and related Codes in Ohio. Suitable for use either in the office or on the job, it is an alphabetical series of entries, from Accessibility Guidelines to Yards, each consisting of a concise restatement of the various applicable Code requirements.
