Miller’s Standard Insurance Policies Annotated is a collection of more than 264,224 annotations to state and federal cases reported in the U.S. since 1978 — cases that have interpreted 100 standard property and liability insurance policies* and more than 1,000 endorsements.
The title provides an annotation for every policy provision interpreted by a judicial decision and identifies reported decisions that interpret non-standard policy language. For each annotation, the text indicates whether the insured, insurer, or a third party prevailed on the coverage provision.
Miller’s includes the most commonly sold and litigated policies today, including personal lines and commercial lines.

The annotations are arranged by policy and section number, jurisdiction, and date to enable a subscriber to quickly locate case law analyzing a coverage provision. Annotations for similar coverage provisions in other policies may be found through “Miller’s Index,” which lists more than 5,500 coverage provisions, topics, words, and phrases with references to more than 21,500 policy provisions.
