LEGAL
Prepared by Jacob A. Stein, America's leading damages authority, this comprehensive multi-volume set is uniquely divided into two main parts that can be used either as a quick-answer resource or an in-depth case-finder and analyst. The first part—Text—offers the most thorough, current treatment available of all personal injury damages issues, saving you hours of research. The second part—Service—contains the leading or benchmark cases from each jurisdiction concerning particular damages issued to support legal theories, streamlining research by giving you only those cases which have created legal precedent. Main parts are linked through a parallel numbering system.

Volumes 4-5. Digest of Awards
4-Abdomen to Liver (alphabetically)
5-Lungs to Wrongful Death (alphabetically)
Recognizing that information on the amounts awarded in other, similar personal injury cases
is often very useful in evaluating and settling claims, we have added two entire volumes which catalog
reported personal injury cases by the major body part or system injured and by the action taken by the
reviewing court. For the most recent cases we provide extensive details on the amounts awarded, the
injuries sustained, and the circumstances of the accident. For older cases we provide a total dollar amount
awarded and a brief description of the accident and injury.
