John P. Duke is a partner in Pepper Hamilton LLPs corporate and securities practice group in the firms Berwyn, Pennsylvania, office. His practice is devoted primarily to mergers and acquisitions, public offerings, securities law compliance, and corporate governance. He represents public and private companies in connection with merger and acquisition transactions, serves as issuers counsel in public equity and debt offerings, advises investment banks in connection with underwritten public offerings, private placements, and merger and acquisition advisory engagements, and represents private equity firms in connection with minority equity investments, leveraged recapitalizations, and management buyouts. Mr. Duke is a member of the firms executive committee (the firms governing body), professional responsibility committee, and associates committee. He received his bachelors degree in finance from Loyola College and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
