Aspatore Special Report: Owbpa Requirements for Adea Releases

Product details
Description
This product provides feedback from leading legal minds on drafting enforceable waiver and release agreements regarding Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) claims under the Older Worker Benefits Protection Act (OWBPA). As they seek to cut costs, employers often present employees with severance agreements that release the employer from any employment-related claims in exchange for a severance package. Employers presenting such releases, however, must ensure strict compliance with the OWBPA in order to avoid federal age discrimination claims. This book guides the reader through the process of developing compliant termination procedures and addressing claims that may arise.
